In the first quarter of 2021, the Android gaming landscape in Europe saw interesting trends among the top Turn-Based Tactics games. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games have shown varying patterns in user engagement and financial performance.

Tank Stars started the quarter with downloads at around 190K and saw a dip to approximately 123K by the end of January, before rebounding to nearly 197K in mid-February. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, with a high of 1.2M at the beginning of the quarter, dropping to around 948K, and then rising again to 1.18M in February. Revenue showed a steady increase from $3.7K in the last week of December to $4.2K by the end of March.

Miniclip.com's Bowmasters experienced a decline in downloads from 123K to 108K in January, followed by a rise to over 132K in late February. Weekly active users hovered around 789K at the start of the quarter, with a peak of 820K in early March before settling at 782K. Revenue trends peaked at $6.9K in late February, after fluctuating throughout the quarter.

‎Flick Chess! by Supersonic Studios LTD showed a gradual decrease in downloads from 15K in late December to around 11K by the end of March. The game's weekly active users saw a high of 34K in late January before decreasing to 20K. As revenue was relatively low, the focus remained on the game's downloads and active user trends.

Gato Games, Inc's Super Mechs saw downloads increase from 14K to over 20K in early February, then experienced a drop to 8.5K, and recovered to around 13.5K by the end of March. Weekly active users reached nearly 40K in early February but declined to 26K towards the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked at $2.8K in mid-January and ended the quarter with $1.8K.

Finally, TINYSOFT's Magic War Legends showed a mixed pattern in downloads, with an increase from 9.7K to 11.5K in early February, a dip to 8.8K in late March, and a rise to nearly 12K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users peaked at 128K in early February and saw a low of 108K in late March. The revenue showed resilience with a strong start of $23.9K in late December, dipping to $16.5K in mid-January, but recovering to $22K by the end of March.
